All La Palma City offices (City Hall, Recreation, Public Works, and Police Administration) will be closed starting Thursday, December 23, 2021, and will re-open Monday, January 3, 2022. The Police and Fire Department will remain open for 24/7 emergency services or for other matters requiring an urgent response from the City, such as water leaks.
Customers wishing to pay their municipal utility (water) bill during the break are encouraged to use the online portal at www.EDCOdisposal.com (click on “Pay Your Bill” at the top of the page), call EDCO at (714) 522-3577, or use the drop boxes, located outside City Hall and in the Police station lobby.
Holiday Trash Collection
Trash collection services will be pushed back one day on November 25. There will be no disruptions, this year, during the weeks of December 25 and January 1 due to both holidays falling on a Saturday.
Holiday Tree Collection
EDCO Disposal will also be collecting holiday trees for recycling during a two-week period following December 25 using a separate collection truck. Residents can place their holiday trees out on their normal trash day for collection.
Holiday Street Sweeping Services
Street sweeping services will be cancelled between November 22 – 26, 2021, and December 20 – 31, 2021. Street sweeping will resume on Monday, January 3, 2022.
