Mark your calendars! Arbor Day is April 19, 2023 and the City of La Palma is honoring Arbor Day with much celebration! As part of the festivities, the City is hosting a coloring contest from Pre-K through 3rd grade and an art poster contest for 4th – 6th graders. The contest’s theme is “Trees are Terrific in Many Ways." The theme is designed to inspire a greater appreciation of the variety of ways trees help us and the planet. First, second, and third place winners will be awarded at the Arbor Day Celebration.
In addition, the City is seeking organizations and individuals to participate in the Arbor Day Tree Sponsorship program.
