Contest Description
Join the La Palma Community Services Department for the Spring Peeps Diorama Contest! This is a fun and creative contest to see who can make the best looking scene using the always fun marshmallow treat, PEEPS!
Using your favorite book, sport, or outdoor activity as your inspiration build a scene with Peeps and submit a photo of the scene to the La Palma Recreation department via email, online, or in-person at the Community Center. Prizes will be awarded to the Best of the Best in each category and one “Peep’s” Choice Award. Get creative and have fun!
Category winners will be notified via email and announced the week of April 19th on the City's social media platforms & website.

Rules & Guidelines
- All characters in each scene must be portrayed by Peeps and must include at least one Peep.
- Any Peeps candy can be used and the peeps candy can be altered.
- Any shaped marshmallow Peep is allowed.
- All entries should be around the size of a standard shoe-box, with maximum size of 12″ x 18″ by 12″. Sides may be removed.
- One entry per person.
- Participants 18 years old and under ONLY.
- Each entry must have a title.
- Additional supplies can be used to create a scene.
- All scenes must be family-friendly.
- No editing pictures, no collages, and only one photo may be submitted per entry.
- Applications and pictures must be submitted by the deadline of April 11.
- Have fun and let your creativity and imagination run wild!
Tip: Open up the Peeps several days before the you want to use them, the peeps are easier to use when they’ve dried out.
