The La Palma City Council asked staff to plan a new signature event for the City that reflects La Palma’s diversity, vision, and sense of community. La Palma Festival of Nations will celebrate La Palma’s cultural heritage through dancing, performances, and exhibits. Kicking off the event will be a hometown parade marching down Walker Street (starting at Houston Avenue to La Palma Avenue) featuring local schools, organizations, neighborhoods, and local businesses.
Following the Parade, the Festival will feature fun attractions for all ages, kids-zone, petting zoo, carnival games, international food trucks, and a beer and wine garden. Throughout the day musical performances and dances will be held at the Central Park Pavilion.
